In times of challenge one encounters sociability at a very tasty Cafe to Go. A nice word, delicious rolls to go and colonial delicacies to go for lunch round off the profile. Conclusion: very recommendable!

Best place in town or as the Kölsche says: Dat es ene jode Lade.

A small coffee house, where they serve Julius Meinl coffee. Delicious Austrian coffee that you immediately recognize by the red cup with the special figure with the cap and the brush. Friendly service, rich sandwiches or, like me, a simple cheese sandwich is available here. A small choice of sweets / pastry. For us it was a wonderful start to another beautiful day in Cologne.

Today I wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast with my girlfriend in the sun. However, shortly after the food was brought to us, wasps spoiled our carefree food. At first I fought back, but it felt like two new ones appeared with each dead wasp. Since there are only higher tables in the interior and we both sit in wheelchairs, we thought the only way out would be to pack breakfast and eat in the hotel room. The waitress came to the table and we reported our problem. Then she said: "We'll make something for you." They then made a makeshift table for us out of bread boxes so that we could have breakfast in peace. Otherwise they were also very caring and we felt well looked after. In my opinion, anyone can conjure up a reasonably tasty breakfast, but then it often fails because of the sensitivity when serving. We'll definitely come back while we're still here, even if it's just for a coffee and a piece of cheesecake.

Cozy, familiar, lovingly furnished coffee shop, large selection of sandwiches from 6:00 a.m., huge portions of scrambled eggs, changing home-made soups. Friendly staff.

A nice place to have breakfast, it tastes delicious and the service is very friendly in the classic Cologne way. A MUST have on every visit to Cologne!

Nice service!

A place with so much character! The variety of sandwiches and baked goods was so appetizing I decided against taking the breakfast option. A sandwich and an amazing donut cost me 5 euros, were in great quality and sooo delicious. The staff was very friendly and nice and made an effort to speak English for the English speakers. There's a great environment inside, feels like a breakfast in a cabin. Loved it!

Friendly but relatively expensive en lower end of the market

In the Alt Market it is the best place for breakfast, as others have said it is quirky with wheelchairs and walking frames outside, the staff are lovely, reasonable prices, a nice selection of pastries and cakes

Weirdest coffee shop ever. It's is literally Grandma's coffee. Outside seating is wheelchairs, inside is Christmas trees and old lady tat. But the coffee was great and the food looked amazing.

Good coffee, good breakfast (no pastries), super nice wait staff. In short, we felt comfortable here and also had a delicious breakfast! Top! We will be back...

Friendly and awesome food.

The owner was extremely helpful in getting us a delicious breakfast! This place is in a wonderful location and serves great food. We had four over easy eggs on fried ham and toast. Yum!

Oma's was perfect for a quick breakfast. Delicious breads and eggs and bacon. Very friendly service as well. Would go back.
